Why Sun Born Competitive 7on7 Youth Football? The evolution of the game at the professional, collegiate and high school levels has drastically changed. Youth 7on7 passing leagues expose players to a crucial part of the game that is often ignored in youth tackle leagues. The non-contact reps will allow players to gain valuable football experience with less physical impact on the body. -This will prepare your players/child for his/her upcoming Spring & Fall football season -This will prepare our youth for the next 10 plus years of their football careers, b/c when they get to middle, high school, and college this is the format that they will use. The knowledge gained will put them ahead of all the other players that failed to play this format.

7on7 is now taking registrations for Football & Training Programs Starting March 18, 2021 with games played Saturday mornings & Sunday Afternoons in the greater Sacramento ( Northern California) area.

Our 7on7 league is one hand touch, no blocking or tackling. This allows quarterbacks and receivers to focus on the passing game. Each division will play 8 games with playoffs. All games are played indoors and outdoors in the greater Sacramento areas. Games are 50 minutes in length (2 x 25 minute halves). There are no games on holidays. All games officiated by IHSA certified referees. All teams must fill out waiver/roster form.

Here at SBYFL We will change the game as far as making 7 on 7 Football more challenging and realistic. We want our young and older players to understand that Proper Coverage, Reading Defenses, Reading Routes and Breaking on the Ball are the most important aspects of the game. Our Athletes will learn all of these valuable tools in our 7 on 7 Football Challenge. Welcome to the World's greatest game on grass/turf, full of fast break offenses and lock down defenses.

Darius takes value in his non profit organization (Sun Born Youth Football League)

and believes that coaches Wins and losses are not a priority for our Coaches, developing life skills and individual character is what guides our coaching decisions and actions. Coaches are expected to lead by example in both words and actions on and off the football field.

Coaches accept responsibility of the development of our athletes as both players and persons while under their direction.

Our goal is to be an organization that not only develops Onsted football players that parents and coaches will be proud of, but also guide our athletes to becoming positive contributors to any team and community they choose to be a part of.
